First Cove Swim of the Year a Huge Success |

 RESCU Academy students, staff, and several family members completed the first La Jolla Cove Swim of 2009 on Thursday, May 7th. Executive Director Cheryl Zak and Harrison B. swam three miles for the first time with TEAM RESCU students. Former RESCU teacher, Ben Aragon, also joined the three mile swim to promote the groups’ success. Alex and John P. swam two miles for their first time, along with Steve M, a RESCU parent. Several new students, including CJ, Brenna, Will, Brandon, Joey B., and Grayson swam the one mile for the first time. Many parents were out on kayaks to help guide the three groups of swimmers. Thank you to all who helped contribute to the picnic after the swim and helped make John’s birthday a memorable one.
