On January 15th, 2009, RESCU Academy celebrated its fourth graduation ceremony for Matt. All students, RESCU Academy families, and former students attended the graduation ceremony to celebrate Matt's achievement. Jack Dale, former mayor of Santee, was the commencement speaker for the evening followed by a special performance by the students and staff.
