Music Club offers students an opportunity to practice in a safe social environment with a professional musician that can direct their musical interests. Music club is a very popular club and allows both experienced and beginner levels to play together to hone their music skills. Music Club further provides RESCU Academy students a way to nurture their musical talents, while also working on cooperation, timing, and rhythm. Music Club meets on Fridays from 2:30 to 4:00 and is directed by older peers and parent volunteers. RESCU Academy has a wide selection of instruments that are available to the students including; acoustic and electric guitars, tambourines, triangles, and hand drums. The music club members have performed live at several coffee houses in San Diego and at the Night of Excellence in front of 150 people and many other public venues. Recently, the RESCU Academy music club has also been extended an opportunity to utilize a professional recording studio.
