Individual learning needs, special accommodations or resource allocations necessary to ensure the best academic situation are evaluated on a continuous basis. Hearing impaired students are situated in the classroom to assure that both visual and auditory clues allow them to participate in all school activities and discussions. Sign-language interpreters have been accessed for previous hearing impaired students. Special keyboards have been utilized for students with fine motor disabilities and physical impairments. Textbooks have been supplemented with the audio text for our auditory learners. In addition, two staff members speak Spanish to provide students instruction in our Spanish courses.
