RESCU Academy is a private comprehensive school which serves a population of students who need additional support for their education, behavior, and/or family dynamics. The school serves 4^th through 12^th grade students on a year-round schedule and offers therapeutic supportive counseling and support meetings for students and families.

RESCU Academy Pedagogy

The student and the student’s family are the focus of RESCU pedagogy. The goal of the school is to reconnect each student with his or her family, community, and society as a whole. Students have access to individualized academic curricula and participate in rigorous daily athletic activities.  Therapeutic supportive counseling for emotional and academic issues is available as needed to assist in the achievement of the School Life Learning Goals (SLGs).

RESCU staff is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to provide therapeutic supportive counseling.  Parents attend Saturday morning Parent Support Meetings facilitated by an Executive Director to learn tools to help their children, themselves, and their families. When appropriate, Sibling Support Meetings are offered to assist siblings in understanding how they have been affected by the enrolled student and what changes they can expect.

Families are encouraged to take advantage of the opportunity for individual family meetings with the Executive Directors and staff.  RESCU Academy does not keep confidentiality regarding information shared by students and their families due to the nature of the school and its pedagogy.
